Inclusive Design

Yes, we’re a UNESCO City of Design, but we must be certain our architectural plans remain accessible and welcoming to all people.
As part of the 2017 Detroit City of Design Summit, we sponsored an Inclusive Design workshop

Women Who Dare

Detroit high schoolers gathered for an all-day NAWBO EXCEL Greater Detroit GirlBiz seminar, co-chaired by M3D CEO Melissa Halpin. The girls learned about entrepreneurship from creatives and executives from across Detroit.

Eastern Market After Dark

After work, a warm whiskey glow. We enjoyed letting our hair down (just a little) at Eastern Market last week. If only to get this photo, of course.

A Night in White…Linen?

A little bit Gatsby, a fair measure of Tom Wolfe, and a load of fabulous Detroiters: that was the 2016 Dîner en Blanc. We had a marvelous time helping fill Palmer Park with laughter and libations.

From Prototype to TrailHammer™

At SEMA 2015, we helped our client Amanda Products show off their TrailHammer™ series of market-ready versions of their innovative bumper, door and mirror prototypes. We’re thrilled (and SEMA attendees were too) to see the end result of our 2014 product ideation sessions.

Building the NMSDC Experience

Partnering with Lindsay Exhibit Group, Inc., we designed an eye-catching integrated experience for GS3 Global‘s appearance at the National Minority Supplier Development Council‘s annual conference. From striking video presentations to a fun “Realization Race” interactive station, we shared the GS3 story — did we mention they were named an NMSDC Regional Supplier of the Year? — with thousands of conference attendees.

Victory in Vegas

We love seeing M3D designs — even if the logo and vehicle wrap are a bit muddy — on stage at the Mint 400. Amanda Products, our offroad aftermarket design client, is the title sponsor for the first-in-its-class ColeCar Motorsports offroad racing team.

Booth Babes Don’t Work

We already knew this, but it’s nice seeing some data to back it up: Booth babes are bad for trade show experiences:
